The monthly litter clean of the nature reserve is a wonderful opportunity to volunteer while enjoying the beauty of the former golf course and enjoy caring for place with local people who feel the same passion for this unique area and project.

The fauna in the reserve relies on these regular cleans to help keep their habitat pollution free, to prevent them from ingesting polystyrene, and collecting other pieces of rubbish before they end up in the ocean.

Normally, we conduct the clean up on the first Sunday of every month from 9:30am-10.30am.

If you’d like to join us, please bring two bags (they can just be Coles/Woolworths bags if you don’t have cloth ones), sturdy gloves and wear sturdy shoes. Hope to see you there!
